According to the report of the Minister of State of Finance, "In the last two years ie, 4,488.44 kilograms in the financial year 2016-17 and 6,383 kilograms of gold in the financial year 2017-18 has been invested by the temples / institutions / companies / firms across the country. "It is worth mentioning that at present, the cost of one kg of gold is about Rs. 31 lakhs. According to this, the billions of gold from the temple came out of the vault of the banks and reached the bank.

The government had made several changes to the scheme to make this scheme even more effective. So that people can invest more and more. According to the Finance Ministry report, in nearly two years, the common people have invested about 1134 kgs of gold under this scheme.
